In 2 days I will embark on a journey to the Philippines. This will be my second mission exposure trip, compared to last year (which went to Cambodia), this time we have more people, 15-17 of them! Praise the Lord! Never expected that so many of them will be going at first. But glad that most of them that are going this time will be the youths. Hopefully this trip will really reflect one of the song that we are going to sing there. The phrase goes :
"Open the blind eyes, unlock the deaf ears, come to your people, as we draw near"

A lot of times, the doubtful are the Christian themselves. Let us hope that this trip will somehow shake us from our comfort zone. This comes perfectly after the incident that happens to the Hong Kong tourist that were held hostage by some estranged ex-cop. Some of them were killed, and there are many news and reports warning chinese especially to avoid the Philippines. In the news also it has been reported that thousands of people has cancelled their trip to Philippines, mostly from Hong Kong and China.
There are no better time to go than now!
On another note, my reading has been going up and down like the stock market. Both reading of the Bible and books. I've made up my mind some rigid formula might not work. I will now just start off with the intention and pick up just whatever to read. Hope this will bring momentum towards a steady uptrend of my reading habits.
